Lucy and Ethel show A.I’s importance to social media

Dear Business owner:

I am sure you’ve seen this iconic episode of I Love Lucy where the women decide to be the bread winners and get a job packing the chocolate candies as they roll down the conveyor belt.

At first, the candies move at a reasonable pace. But gradually, they move faster and faster and they can’t keep up.

Much like data that needs to be analyzed. Artificial Intelligence takes in the data and spits out the relevant information.

Lucy and Ethel must catch every candy that comes down the conveyor belt.

Well, there is information that can be ignored and information that can’t.

And as the information keeps coming in, you must eat them, place them under your hat, your uniform, somewhere!

But if you can’t figure out which ones can and can’t, you must accept all of it.

Until now!

You see that is what Artificial Intelligence can do.

AI does the hard work of deciding which candies should be ignored, eaten, thrown off the belt and which ones should be saved.

AI digests everything and spits out relevant data. The irrelevant data is eaten by AI. This frees you up to do other things.

Now some people might be thinking, “why should I train the person (or entity) that is going to eventually replace me and be obsolete? Fair point.

First, AI is doing the dirty work for now. Second, if you train yourself to manage AI, you will have a job for the foreseeable future anyways. According to Author Jay Baer, for the short term, AI “must be taught what to look for and where-by us.”

AI does the dirty work, and it will help you optimize your marketing for social media.

P.S.

Work smarter and not harder, or you can work like Lucy and Ethel. It’s up to you!
